CODE OF CONDUCT  and  DISCIPLINARY RULES

  1. Overall Development: Students are encouraged to excel academically while also focusing on their personality development, emphasizing qualities like discipline and character.
  2. Adherence to Rules: Every student is expected to willingly follow the rules and regulations set by the College/Department and conduct themselves diligently, faithfully, and honorably.
  3. Moral Standards and Dress Code: Upholding socially accepted moral standards is essential. Students are advised to adhere to the dress code guidelines, avoiding distracting appearances like painted body parts, tattoos, colored hair, or excessive long hair for boys.
  4. Punctuality: Punctuality is highly valued, and students are expected to arrive at their classrooms or labs at least five minutes before the scheduled time.
  5. Attendance: Regular attendance, including guest lectures, is mandatory, with a minimum requirement of 75% attendance for eligibility to sit for University examinations.
  6. Academic Responsibilities: Students must submit assignments, seminar presentations, projects, case analyses, lab records, and lab assignments as directed.
  7. Respect and Courtesy: Respect and courtesy must be extended to all, including guest lecturers, teaching and non-teaching staff, both on and off-campus.
  8. Notice Board Compliance: Students are responsible for staying informed about and complying with notices posted on the notice board.
  9. Property Protection: Safeguarding college property is mandatory, and students causing damage will be subject to fines.
  10. Library and Lab Rules: Library and lab rules must be followed at all times.
  11. Anti-Ragging Policy: Any form of violence, threat, or intimidation is considered ragging and will result in expulsion. Ragging is a criminal offense, reported to the authorities.
  12. Serious Offenses: Misbehavior, habitual lateness, disobedience, absenteeism, cybercrimes, fraud, cheating, or unprofessional conduct are treated as serious offenses.
  13. No Smoking or Intoxication: Smoking on campus is strictly prohibited, and being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not allowed.
  14. Personal Responsibility: The college does not assume responsibility for lost or stolen valuables, and wearing costly ornaments or carrying excess cash is discouraged.
  15. No Outsiders Without Permission: Students cannot bring outsiders to campus/classrooms/labs without permission.
  16. Cleanliness: Students are expected to maintain cleanliness and avoid leaning against walls.
  17. Compulsory Attendance: Attendance at seminars, workshops, and training programs organized by the Department/College is compulsory.
  18. Parental Involvement: Parents (either Father or Mother) should attend open house sessions when required.
  19. Internal Examination Attendance: Attendance for internal examinations (both theory and lab) is mandatory, affecting internal marks.
  20. Consequences for Violations: Violations of these rules may lead to severe consequences, including censure, suspension, issuance of a Compulsory Transfer Certificate (TC), or dismissal. The Principal/Director retains the authority to determine appropriate punishment.
